



I've counted the colors and it's true) right down to the three forms and the different 'wounds' it gets. Technique: as I said above, you managed to make a very simple sprite into something much more detailed and alive, while still adhering to the original style (I cannot believe that you didn't exceed the 8 colors used in the original, but I have to. but since that isn't the idea, it's hardly worth a mention. a very simple but very effective way to work, I applaud! Vision: You did redesign the monster fairly well, sticking close to the original but making the simple sprite much more detailed with the side view. I haven't really critiqued many re-sprites, so bear with me if this isn't what you wanted at all.
