It's constructed with 31 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. The automatic self-winding Zenith El Primero caliber 3019PHC movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's water resistant and the 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. There is a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock, and three silver guilloche subsidiary dials, including a running constant seconds dial at 9 o'clock, a twelve-hour dial at 6, and a 30-minute register at the 3 o'clock position. What Zenith is giving us is the El Primero A386 Revival, a faithful recreation of the watch that started it all, only rendered in a trio of precious metals (white, rose, and yellow gold). There is a center red chronograph hand, and outer rings with minutes, 1/5 second, and a blue tachymeter scale. It has the original faded blue dial with luminous steel baton index hour markers and hands. There is an exhibition snap-on case back. The 37.5mm solid two-body tonneau-shaped case, flat bezel, and integral hooded lugs are polished/brushed. This revival piece is meant to resemble what an A384 was back in 1969. It has a shell cordovan strap with a stainless tang buckle, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and round chronograph pushbuttons. 1971 stainless steel Zenith El Primero A788.
